I know it’s very unconventional for someone with my background to exercise the point of view of an republican. I don’t know if I fully classified myself as such but I can say that my perspective is right-leaning. I wasn’t always this way though. Something changed inside of me. Stay tune to discover what changed.
Discussion Box Rules
No one likes rules but I want our discussion to be as inclusive as possible. You can express whatever is on your mind, just don’t say anything negative that you won’t say to your mother and most importantly, have fun.
Be kind
You can express how you feel about an particular topic but treat everyone with kindness. Treat others the way you want to be treated.
Duke it out respectfully
It’s easy to argue with each other in politics. Politics is like an boiling pot for drama. If you’re going criticize someone, comes with facts but do it respectfully.
Have fun
Remember to always have fun. At the end of the day, having a discussion builds on our communication skills and encourages everyone to be more articulate with their words.
Why did I start blogging?
To be honest, I was looking for ways to gain income from the comfort of my home. I always had an passion for journalism but never took into consideration that I could build my own platform from the ground up. I tried freelance even copywriting journalism at one point but I didn’t have the motivation to keep going, plus at the time, I didn’t have a niche or an direction that I wanted to take in journalism. In 2022, something sparked inside of me. My boyfriend, at the time, introduce me to politics. I never quite understood the divide between Republicans and Democrats until now. I didn’t even knew that they were other parties beside republicans and democrats. My mother always told me to select democrat on the ballet and even in college, I taught to compress my conversative views. I have all these thoughts and ideas in my mind, why not duke it out on my personal website?

PODCAST: DISSECTING US
Yes. That’s right. I really want to expand my content elsewhere. I created this blogging page in hopes of starting an podcast soon. This podcast debut is way overdue. I knew straight out of college that I wanted to create my own podcast but I didn’t know how and again, I didn’t really have a niche. The name “Dissecting Us” is an broad name in efforts to talk about plethora of topics from entertainment news, music, international and domestic news, religion, mental health, black culture, media culture and of course politics and its relation to mainstream media. I think a lot of us are naive by how politics intertwine in everything we do and truly impact our freedom and rights in America. If we want change, we got to be willing to have an discussion and apply action to our words. Hopefully this podcast will not only be outlet of free expression but an catalyst to true advocacy.
Like Candace Owens said the real enemy isn’t in politics but the dark forces we’re facing day to day with the devil. Our souls are tested and challenged, and tempted every day. We must reunited our nation with aid and guidance in the Lord. We can defeat darkness with truth. Truth in the word of God.
I’ll keep you posted about updates about this development. The goal is to get the podcasting up and running at least by January 2025. This is what I want to accomplish:
