To be honest, I was going to enjoy my Friday but my gut told me to “please post your thoughts on your blog page”. So this is me…typing my thoughts. I know what you’re thinking. How does a right-leaning black woman dares to create a blog pushing conversative values when you haven’t even mentioned that the difference between Harris and Trump’s policies? It’s fair to have this judgement because I think a lot of people vote blindly without knowing the facts. The sad reality is that I was one of these voters. I just moved to Texas and I honestly don’t even know who the governor is. If you’re residing into an new location, you should know your people including what restrictions or regulations are held at that state. Today we’re not going to talk about the governor of Texas though. We need to talk about the difference between Harris and Trump policies. I think it’s important to highlight those policies because people need a broader understanding of each presidential candidates’ political stance.
Trump’s Administration
One thing that I admire about Trump is that he thrives on communication. In other words, he isn’t afraid of an debate. He isn’t afraid of transparency with the American people. He acknowledges that he isn’t the smartest person in the room and doesn’t use complex jargon throughout his speech. On Trump’s website, he nicknamed these policies as Agenda 47. It’s not actually policies but promises to the American people of what will concur if Trump take office. These are the “policies” of Agenda 47:
- Seal the border and stop the migrant invasion
- Carry out the largest deportation operation in American history
- End inflation, and make America affordable again
- Make America the dominant energy producer in the world, by far!
- STOP OUTSOURCING, AND TURN THE UNITED STATES INTO A MANUFACTURING SUPERPOWER
- large tax cuts for workers, and no tax on tips!
- Defend our constitution, our bill of rights, and our fundamental freedoms, including freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and the right to keep and bear arms
- Prevent world war three, restore peace in europe and in the middle east, and build a great iron dome missile defense shield over our entire country — all made in america
- End the weaponization of government against the american people
- Stop the migrant crime epidemic, demolish the foreign drug cartels, crush gang violence, and lock up violent offenders
- Rebuild our cities, including washington dc, making them safe, clean, and beautiful again.
- Strengthen and modernize our military, making it, without question, the strongest and most powerful in the world
- Keep the U.S. dollar as the world’s reserve currency
- Fight for and protect social security and medicare with no cuts, including no changes to the retirement age
- Cancel the electric vehicle mandate and cut costly and burdensome regulations
- Cut federal funding for any school pushing critical race theory, radical gender ideology, and other inappropriate racial, sexual, or political content on our children
- Keep men out of women’s sports
- Deport pro-hamas radicals and make our college campuses safe and patriotic again
- Secure our elections, including same day voting, voter identification, paper ballots, and proof of citizenship
- Unite our country by bringing it to new and record levels of success
These promises are not too complicated to understand either. All this information can be found on his personal website. He even goes into deeper details, illustrating his plan to make America great again. Check it out for yourself.
I think these policies shield us from making any unnecessary moves with other countries (our allies) until America is united once again. Our US constitution states that “United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government”. Exercising the duties from the republican party unites our country in harmony with great provision from God. I’m not saying the democracy isn’t good for America but can’t too much democracy leads to an path of destruction? Google defines democracy as a “system of government in which the state power is vested in the people or general population”. In other words, the majority rules. Democracy, in the simple form, can be exercised with fairness through voting. Sometimes democracy can lead to more and more radical policies if not guided under morals created by God. The constitution highlights the importance of faith in an nation. A good nation lead an country with good morals and intentions. I feel like the republican party exercises those morals to protect the dark forces that cross our borders.
I think the purpose of Trump’s promise aims to avoid reliability of foreign countries. We shouldn’t have to outsource our resources to our allies if our own country is suffering. I’m not saying that having allies isn’t a good thing. I’ve seen homelessness (especially among veterans), the effects of high federal taxes, I’ve suffered from unemployment and I’m currently swimming in debt as we speak. Sometimes we need to mow our own grass before helping the neighbor with theirs. It’s justified to be selfish when our own brothers and sisters are suffering.
Harris Administration
It was refreshing to know that she does have an website promoting her campaign.
I have to note that they had a short biography about Kamala Harris and her running mate Tim Waltz. It illustrated what she and Waltz has done before running as president but doesn’t share her policies on the website. In fact, I had to look up other resources to justify her political position. I’m still confused about her plans but this is what I know. She supports reproductive rights. She wants to restore Roe v. Wade to exercise women’s constitutional rights to have an abortion. Reproductive freedom has always been her number one goal. She recently release her statement for economic growth in America. So she has an economic plan that announces new tax proposals. The economic plan addresses affordable housing and increasing corporate income tax to expanding resources for low income families including healthcare and childcare. Here are a few things I found on another website detailing the economic plan…check it out for yourself.
- Provide a new tax incentive for homebuilders who build starter homes sold to first-time homebuyers
- Provide up to $25,000 down-payment support for first-time (and certain other) homeowners
- Expand an existing tax incentive for businesses that build affordable rental housing
- Create a new $40 billion innovation fund intended to spur innovative housing construction among local governments
Lastly they have a whole page explaining “project 2025″. Trump claimed that he doesn’t even know about Project 2025, never created it but the democrats know this could be a money grab from Trump. An project design to gain power and restrict freedom from average Americans. They went hard on this ”Project 2025″ document. I’m going to have to save that for another post. To be honest, that’s all that I can share about her plan in simplest form as possible. It is unfortunate that we’re three months away from the election and she barely has any policies for the American people. I’m trying to give her the benefit of doubt because Biden jumped out of the race in such short notice. I’m assuming that she’ll push out her plans from the 2020 presidential election but we will see. This makes me even more eager to watch that debate against her and Trump next month.
